We deliver LGBT+ and trans awareness training to any organisation wanting to learn more and provide a more inclusive, accessible service for LGBT+ people. We also deliver talks and workshops for schools, colleges and youth groups. Our training is highly regarded and seen as the gold standard, with lots of organisations now working with us to ensure they are LGBT+ aware and inclusive. Please visit the training page for further details. We have also created a list of other support services in Warwickshire. Althought they are not LGBT+ specific, they can assist with issues such as homelessness, drug and alcohol abuse, sexual assault, crime and mental health. Please click here to access the document.
The Warwickshire Pride Fitness Club is all about empowering LGBT+ people to become more active in order to boost physical and mental health. A regular fitness activity takes place somewhere in Warwickshire. Most of the activities are suitable for people of all abilities and will always be fully accessible where possible. Please view our calendar to see what's coming up.
Food and Hygiene Products
During the Covid-19 lockdowns, it came to light that many LGBT+ people were struggling and in poverty, meaning they could not afford to buy food or hygiene products. Thanks to donations of items and volunteer support, we are able to help LGBT+ people in need. Whether it's delivering food packages, supplying hygiene products, or signposting to services that can help, we are here for any LGBT+ person in need. Please visit our food support page for details and reach out if you need to.
We carry out a range of research projects to understand the issues that LGBT+ people face and guage the needs of the community. We write a report on each piece of research we conduct, and feed the results back to key people and decision makers with the hope of inspiring positive changes that make everything a bit better for LGBT+ people locally. Please visit our research page to read more about the research we have done.
To find out more about any of the services, activities, events or training that we run, please email [email protected] or call/text 07580 532659 to speak to a member of our team. You will also find full listings of everything we do on our calendar page.
