Emergency protest Wednesday July 1st against local library censorship
There is an emergency protest tomorrow at 1:15pm outside Shire Hall in Warwick. It is a protest against Warwickshire County Council’s Reform administration trying to ban LGBTQ+ displays and books from Warwickshire’s libraries.
Stand up to Reform’s erasure of queer identity! Representation saves lives. It also provides vital education.
The protest is not organised by Warwickshire Pride. We are just supporting it and have given permission for the Warwickshire Pride name and logo (which are both trademarked) to be used on the poster.
If you are able to attend the protest, please do. Appreciate it’s a workday for most people. But any support you can give by attending or even sharing that it’s happening will be appreciated.
