If you are currently struggling and in need of a food parcel, or warm pack, Warwickshire Pride is here to support you.
With the cost of everything rising, we know that some people are struggling to afford to buy food or heat their homes adequately. We don’t want anyone to go hungry or be cold over winter.
If you are in need of a food parcel or warm pack, please use the form below to tell us of your need. Everything you put on the form will be treated in the strictest confidence and only viewed by selected volunteers involved with this work. We won’t do any checks or ask for evidence. If you need help, just ask for it. There is no judgement from our side and no need to feel embarrassed about asking for help. It’s what we are here for and we would rather you reached out than suffer in silence. You will only ever receive our support and understanding.
We can drop food parcels and/or warm packs to your home, send them in the post, or arrange collection from a convenient location.
Food parcels will include items such as:
- tinned food,
- pasta,
- rice,
- cereal,
- crisps,
- biscuits, and
- squash.
We also have some hygiene products available, such as:
- toilet roll,
- sanitary products,
- deodorant,
- soap, and
- shampoo.
Please indicate on your request form whether you need any hygiene products and what you are in need of.
Warm packs will include:
- curtain liners,
- a blanket,
- three draught excluders,
- a flask to keep hot drinks or soup warmer for longer, and
- two radiator keys in order to bleed your radiators and make them work more efficiently.
At the moment we have enough food parcels and warm packs in stock. However, there may be times when we cannot provide food parcels or warm packs directly. If that’s the case we will refer you to an agency that can help. This is dependent on our stock levels. But don’t let that put you off from completing the form below and asking for help. Even if we can’t directly provide you with support, we’ll know an organisation that can and will help you to access the help you need. We will aim to respond to you within 48 hours. We are only able to provide this support to people who are LGBT+ and live in Warwickshire. This is a condition of our funding and within the remit of the charity. If you are not LGBT+ and/or don’t live in Warwickshire, please contact us and we will signpost you to the relevant support.
