Youth Worker – Job Position

Working for Warwickshire Pride is an incredibly rewarding experience that will enable you to make a difference to the lives of LGBT+ people, as well as developing your skills. We are currently seeking a youth worker to join our team and take responsibility for running our Proud Youth service for LGBT+ people aged 12 – 18 years old.

​Proud Youth is all about empowering LGBT+ young people to be themselves. You will play a supportive role, enabling LGBT+ young people to express their identity, meet new people, make friends, and work through any issues or challenges they are facing. You will also be responsible for managing a team of volunteers.

The role is 14 hours per week for a 2 year contract. 8 of the hours will be face to face delivery of youth work. The remaining 6 hours will be spend completing admin, activity planning, and doing other tasks related to the role.

​Payment for this role is £15 per hour, plus mileage at 45p per mile and other allowable expenses.
