The Warwickshire Pride march will return this year, with a march through Leamington Spa town centre at the start of the Pride festival.
We debated over whether to call it a Parade or a March, but settled for March because it’s rooted in protest and Pride is a protest first and foremost.
The march will leave Beauchamp Road at 11:00am, turning on to Clarendon Avenue and then the Parade (yes, a march down a road called Parade). We will then turn on to Dormer Place and move on to the Pump Room Gardens where the Warwickshire Pride festival takes place.
Applications to take part in the march are now open closer to the date. If you are a member of the public and want to take part, it’s completely FREE. All we ask is that you register so we know how many people to expect.
