Thank you to all Warwickshire Pride 2023 attendees

Thank you to everyone who made it a fantastic day. All the trustees, volunteers, sponsors, supporters and all the people who attended. You made Warwickshire Pride 2023 the best one yet.

On arriving at the Pump Room Gardens on Saturday morning, we discovered all our flags and decorations had been taken. There was also smashed glass all over the place. This was a targeted act of hate that is being dealt with.

But from the hate came community spirit, with people bringing flags and decorations to help us make the Pump Room Gardens look ready for Pride. Then we marched, protested, celebrated, and had a fantastic day.

The only thing the hate achieved was to make the community closer, louder and prouder.

Warwickshire Pride 2024 will be on Saturday 17th August. Planning will begin in September. We’ll soon post a link to a feedback form as we’re keen to hear your thoughts about what went well and what could be improved. Feel free to write your thoughts in the comments or send us a message too.

But for now it’s another thank you for being part of Warwickshire Pride 2023.
