Southam has Pride!

We’ve been working quietly behind the scenes with Southam in Bloom and recently attended a meeting with their team to discuss Southam showing support for Pride Month. They held a vote and everyone was in favour of putting up flags during Pride Month. We gave them some of our flags to keep and put up this month and every year.

Here is a pic of one of the flags flying proudly in Southam. It’s great to see Pride Month being marked there for the first time, and at a time when we are trying to reach parts of Warwickshire where we haven’t had a presence before.

Big thanks to the Southam in Bloom team and councillors in Southam for being so wonderful and lovely and supportive. Thank you also to Whitnash Town Council for raising a rainbow flag for the start of Pride Month.

It’s good to see that some councils are still supporting LGBTQ+ communities. It means a lot.
