Pride Festival banners vandalised

Every year we put up banners and posters in Leamington for the festival. Every year our banners and posters are damaged, vandalised, removed, ripped up, or have abuse written on them.

This year is no different. Less than 24 hours after our banner went up at the Pump Room Gardens, someone has cut it down.

We’ll keep replacing the banners and posters. We’ll keep fixing them and putting them back up. We’ll keep hosting Pride. We’ll keep protesting against the hate that drives the vandalism each time we try to promote the festival.

All these actions do is highlight why Pride is still needed.

So, we’ll see you on Saturday for a loud and proud protest and celebration of Pride.
