Warning about scam email from persons claiming to be Warwickshire Pride

We have been receiving calls and emails asking about payment needing to be made to us for a Pride event in July. People have been sent bank details, told to pay into an account if they want to have a stall, and told it’s Warwickshire Pride.

This is not us.

Anyone who applies for a stall at the Warwickshire Pride festival (which is in Leamington Spa on 16th August, not in July) has an invoice sent to them. We never send emails asking for money without an invoice. We also only send invoices to people who have applied for a stall via our website.

Our email addresses are [email protected] and [email protected]. If you receive an email from any other email address asking you to pay money, it is not us. Please ignore such emails and report to us.

If you have made a payment to a bank account that is not Warwickshire Pride, you should contact your bank to report fraud.
