Rugby Pride posters defacement

We are aware that homophobic comments are being written around posters promoting our LGBT+ youth group in Rugby.

Thank you to the person who painted over the comments, even if more comments appeared after.

If you see anything like this in Rugby or anywhere else in Warwickshire, please take a photo and then report it to Warwickshire Police, to Warwickshire Pride, and to Rugby Borough Council or whichever council covers the area.

Things like this only highlight why Pride is still needed and why LGBT+ support groups are necessary. If you are affected in any way by homophobia, biphobia or transphobia, please reach out to us. We’re here to help.
