Bonnie Wheelass is a proud disabled drag queen, founding member of the House of Quip, and a regional finalist for Drag Idol 2024.

This is posted at the request of a member of the local community who is also a Warwickshire Pride volunteer. It comes with a trigger/content warning for transphobia.

It’s the local elections in Warwickshire today. While we can’t tell you who to vote for and have no political bias as a charity, we can call politicians and candidates out when they actively harm LGBTQ+ communities.

Coventry Trans Pride have organised a protest taking place this Saturday at 1pm at the statue of Lady Godiva in Coventry city centre.

It’s Lesbian Visibility Week. This week and all year round we champion, support and celebrate lesbian women. That’s cis lesbians and trans lesbians.

Last year we had to stop our adult groups in Nuneaton due to attacks on our team. Now we’re coming back, stronger and even more fabulous than before.

This afternoon our Chair, Dan, and trustee, Healey, had a very positive meeting with the Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford to discuss their new LGBT+ network and how we can work collaboratively and support each other.
