Are you passionate about empowering queer youth to thrive in life? We’re recruiting a youth worker to help run our LGBTQ+ youth service.

Thank you to Warwick District Council for once again allowing us use of the Pump Room Gardens in Leamington Spa for the festival. Stall bookings and performer applications will open in January.

We recently applied to several Warwickshire County Councillors for community grants that will support our work across Warwickshire. Several were successful.

Following the award of the grant, we were alerted to Katie Hopkins appearing at a Rugby Borough Council venue. Due to a total lack of response we are donating the money to Rugby Stand Up To Racism.

On 8th October 2011, the charity started with a youth group in Warwick. In the last 14 years it’s become so much more than that.

As anticipated, the council’s new flag policy provides no protections for the continued flying of the Pride flag outside council offices during Pride month. We have written to councillors urging them to object to the policy and would like to invite you to do the same.

Warwick District Council is conducting a survey of LGBTQ+ hate crime experiences in the area, including the areas you feel most and least safe.

This week at Proud Youth Warwickshire, young people learnt how to make cute hedgehogs by upcycling old books. A big thanks goes to Creation of Crafts for running the workshop.

This morning our Chair was on the BBC1 politics show talking about Reform trying to get the Pride flag removed at Warwickshire County Council and what is at the root of it… homophobia and transphobia.
