We’re recruiting two youth workers to help run our LGBTQ+ youth service and volunteers to help run Golden Queers, our new group for LGBTQ+ people aged 50+, that is coming soon.

Big thanks to the LGBT+ Fund’s Collective Nurture Fund for awarding us a grant of £1,000 to help support our work with LGBTQ+ people seeking asylum who have been placed in Warwickshire.

Thanks to a grant from the Norton Foundation, we can continue hiring a room for the next 12 months for our LGBTQ+ youth group in Leamington.

Thanks to funding support from the Baron Davenport’s Charity, we will soon be starting a regular group for older LGBTQ+ people.

Thank you to Warwick District Council for once again allowing us use of the Pump Room Gardens in Leamington Spa for the festival. Stall bookings and performer applications will open in January.

We recently applied to several Warwickshire County Councillors for community grants that will support our work across Warwickshire. Several were successful.

Following the award of the grant, we were alerted to Katie Hopkins appearing at a Rugby Borough Council venue. Due to a total lack of response we are donating the money to Rugby Stand Up To Racism.

On 8th October 2011, the charity started with a youth group in Warwick. In the last 14 years it’s become so much more than that.

As anticipated, the council’s new flag policy provides no protections for the continued flying of the Pride flag outside council offices during Pride month. We have written to councillors urging them to object to the policy and would like to invite you to do the same.
