It’s just one month until the Warwickshire Pride Festival takes place. Register for our march down the Parade. Check out the stalls and performers we’ll be hosting.

This morning our Chair was on the BBC1 politics show talking about Reform trying to get the Pride flag removed at Warwickshire County Council and what is at the root of it… homophobia and transphobia.

We are deeply saddened to hear of the death of one of our volunteers. Jonathan was a valued part of the community, a really decent and kind person, and volunteered at our youth group and coffee morning in Leamington.

Bambi Bang Bang is the answer to the age old question, what happens when a Disney heroine and a Muppet have a sordid date night together! She is the bubblegum clown princess of drag and burlesque, ready and waiting to share her extremely niche yet raunchy sense of humour with you.

Thanks to the people who have contacted us about the stall in Stratford town centre on Saturday last week that was run by a political group and had someone preaching homophobia.

Warwickshire Pride firmly stands behind Monica Fogarty’s decision to keep the Pride flag flying and for standing up for the rights and rules of local government. The Pride flag is a symbol of inclusivity and celebrates the diversity of the queer community.

Recently, we were alerted to the fact that Katie Hopkins will be appearing at the Benn Hall in Rugby on Saturday 19th July. Benn Hall is a Rugby Borough Council venue.

On Thursday night, the Best Bar None awards took place in Leamington. The winner of the best LGBTQ+ bar was HART + CO with the award presented by one of our Trustees.

Big thanks to everyone who came to our stall at Warwick Market today. We appreciate all the conversations and support.

We work positively with county council staff and various county council departments. We have multiple collaborative projects underway. We will not allow Reform to undo all the hard work and progress.
